About Becky Higg
Becky Higg was born in Bristol and now lives in Manchester with her husband, Paul, and little girl, Anna.
Becky first picked up the guitar aged 16, and has been writing songs ever since. She writes about life and love and friends making you homecooked food when you’re feeling too low to look after yourself.
The thread that runs through most of her songs is hope: keep hanging in there when times are tough; don’t quit; look for beautiful stuff in what may first seem like a mess; that kind of thing…
Of Becky and her music, Marie Charrel, of musiqualite.net said: “it’s difficult not to fall under the charm of this little english girl”.
She currently has three albums available to buy – ‘Room To Move’ (2005), ‘Maybe Just Maybe’ (2008) and ‘Look Out For Love’ (2009)’
Becky is currently taking a break from touring to stay home with Anna, though she is still taking bookings for gigs if they happen to be at the right time and the right place! To book Becky, e-mail her at beckyhigg@hotmail.com.
